by Darrenover two days i have received two phone calls. all the phone callls told me about death. 1 the hamster died. 2 the goldfish died. 3 the TV died. the thing that concerned me the most was that it was the dearth of the TV which caused the most worry and concern in our house. what have we become?

by DarrenI started this year thinking about where I was and what I was going to do. I saw myself on a sliding scale. At one end was Homer and on the other end Moby. Homer is an overweight, bald Dad. Moby is a fairly succesful, bald musician. I would like to be more Moby than Homer and so at the beginning of the year I set off on my journey. As i look back I wonder whether i am any closer to Moby than Homer, I suppose I am but there have been many cold cups of tea along the way. Perhaps i’ll tell you about them one day.
