The air prayer hack – spirit stim 1

I have a certain kinship with David Seah. I don’t know him apart from following his blog and a very brief piece of twittercourse. However, I have found that many of the issues he talks about online are very close to my life and heart.

It was with great interest that I read the post below on meditation and praying. I too have been increasing ritual in my own life over recent months. The hack that David shares is both simple and deep… just as prayer can, and perhaps should, be.

“I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: ‘O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.’ And God granted it.”

Want to make a change in your life in 2009?

I think Tim Ferris’ The 4-hour Work Week: Escape the 9-5, Live Anywhere and Join the New Rich is a fantastic book and is really challenging. I also think Leo Babauta’s Zen Habits is one of the best sites on these here internets in recent years. So when Tim posts some tips from Leo’s new book we would do well to take a peek. With this in mind take a look at the post below. Succinct and to the point as both Tim and Leo are, this could form the basis of a ‘new you’ in 2009. Enjoy
