What is pLAnarchy? In short, pLAnarchy is planning anarchy. Most people see anarchy in a negative light, with often violent connotations attached. Sometimes these are justified but if you like a good conspiracy then most of the negative stuff comes from those most likely to lose out if anarchy takes place.
Real anarchy is about getting rid of systems that don’t work. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! But if it is, then get rid of it. You can see why those in ‘systems’ are wary of anarchy. Planning anarchy is about getting rid of any planning or journaling system that doesn’t work for you. And finding something that does work. A system that works and meets your needs.
Henry Ford probably never said the famous quote ‘you can have any colour as long as it’s black’. However, the concept of mass-production for the market with a best-fit product has been at the core of manufacturing for a while. However, we all know that we are different. We all like different things and we all work in different ways. There are generalisations and similarities, but we are as unique as our DNA.
When it comes to planning and journaling, a very personal exercise, we need something that works for us. PLAnarchy is planning and journaling that works for you. If a planning or journaling system isn’t working for you, then get rid of it, dump it, change it, mod it, hack it, make it work for you – that is pLAnarchy.
What is pLAnarchy?
- It’s a planitude
- It’s a shop
- It’s planners
- It’s journals
- It’s ideas
- It’s my planning struggles
- It’s stickers
- It’s ephemera
- It’s thoughts
- It’s whatever works for you
Plan and journal your way, that’s pLAnarchy.
