It’s friday and the end of a week. And it has been a very productive one. Words written, sound sculpted and FAWM aw well – I have two of the fourteen songs completed.
I have been working on my collection of short horror stories tentatively titled Grimly Tales. The draft is now over 55,000 words, and it was good to come up with a new story this week. It allowed me to dig around Egyptian gods and demons for some research, which is always nice.
Musically, I wanted to finish the lyrics of a song that has been kicking around for some time. I managed to do that, and as always you can keep up with the music here. On the FAWM front I had wondered whether I could compose all the songs using just the iPhone and iPad – what’s better than making a challenge just that bit more challenging. So far though the only instrument that has been of help has been the trusty old guitar. The best laid plans of this creative minimalist…
As you can see from above I have been using my moleskine diary, a couple of other journals and plenty of lists to keep me on track. It has certainly been helpful this week. If you see more posts on here it will have been a success for my blogging too.
