It’s time to update you on what my latest journal set-up is and how I am using it. Planning my way, so you can plan yours – pLAnarchy
“the moment you start to drift, get out of the water”
I have been drifting, without intent, for far too long
I’ve been a little preoccupied recently. I think I have been distracting myself by distracting myself. It’s never as simple as that, but it’s often easier to ignore things… in the short term. I tried to deal with the giant elephant in the room by looking for a solution out the window. When the view outside wasn’t clear it made things even worse. Allegedly, elephants never forget, well, they certainly don’t leave the room.
Still, I am back here now. The elephant is being dealt with, humanely, of course, and I have stopped looking out the window and elsewhere for solutions and quick fixes.
I have been making some junk, travel journals (soon to be on pLAnarchy) and the signature creation gave me a little insight. Each signature is made up of several sheets, folded and then stitched together. By itself one sheet does make a journal, it’s just a piece of paper.
It is only by taking each sheet, folding and sewing, to make a signature, then grouping these signatures together, can a journal be made.
I had stopped thinking of the process. There are no shortcuts.
How is your life going? Are you getting done the things that you want to? Are you reaching your goals with a sickening regularity or are they regularly sick? What you need is a good tracker system in your planner or journal. And here is a little something just for you. A Free Tracker to download, print out and use.
Hit the link below and you’ll find a zip file to download and extract (usually a simple right-click). Inside this file will be a pdf and a png file – just like the image above but without my scribble on. You can use either or both to print out and use in your planner or journal. The png file can be cut up and used in any way you want. Ideal if you create your own digital pages. The files are hi-res so will print out very nicely, but may take a minute or two to download.
The tracker is based on one that can be found in my any-month pLAnZine. You can see what the pLAnZine is like on Etsy, I don’t have many of those left, so if you want to buy one, you need to be quick.
In the meantime happy planning, your way!

Since getting my stickers on my Etsy shop, pLAnarchy and stuff, I have wondered how to share how they can be used. I decided to show you how to create a weekly planner layout from scratch using the pLAnarchy stickers. I hope you enjoy the video and find it inspiring and helpful. All relevant links are with the video, either here, or on YouTube.
All the music used is created by myself. You can find out more about the music and how I use it as I journal here: Music and journaling. If you would like your own music, created just for you! Let me know and we can discuss cost etc. It might not be as expensive as you think.
All the stickers, both hard and digital versions, along with handmade journals and stuff, can be found at the Shop: Planarchy and Stuff.
Thank you for visiting and do drop a note in the comments, sign-up for the newsletter and that way you’ll be the first to know when things happen.
