I have been sneezing, feeling under the weather and generally flirting with a cold for most of this week. Sleep hasn’t been great and as a result, I have drifted far too much.
When I drift, I really drift. I end up wondering about big ideas and projects. I find myself daydreaming about possibilities. This, in turn, helps me drift further. It’s a good time for coming up with ideas but not for getting any of them organised, planned or done.
I managed to get some semblance of control back by watching tutorials and learning more about the software I have and how to use it. I am doing a couple of free courses from Kadenze to learn how Kontakt and Reaktor work. In addition, I am working out how to use MainStage, I dream of performing live again and need to know what the possibilities are.
A Ticket To Write
I have been tweeting about the course all week. Getting the information ‘out there’ but I think I need to target a little better. I have got blog posts lined up and planned for the site, so it is coming together if a little slow.
My main objective this week was to post about the products currently available. That is now done. Next is to make some more journals and digital downloads for all the punk planners out there.
Finished Brass Man by Neal Asher. Really enjoying working through his Polity series. Now reading Polity Agent, the next in the Agent Cormac series.
Despite my best intentions, I ended up bingeing on Hand of God series two. Not that I didn’t want to, but because I had more important things to do, and if I binge, I end up not concentrating on that work. In the end, it was good and because I wasn’t feeling great I didn’t mind slipping into a bingeing habit.
Still watching Legion and understanding less and less as it goes on. But did enjoy Lisa Hannigan’s version of Bowie’s Oh you pretty things, at the end of the latest episode.
All in all, not a great week and I don’t feel great now either. Still, this is the life I have and I intend to use this gift. Until next time, stay safe.
