I probably should have known that after a good week of productivity, a less than optimal one would ensue. Not that it has been bad, just not as good. A lot depends on how things are measured. My head has been a little fuzzy. I thought it might have been the onset of a cold. It turned out to be a tooth infection. I seem to have cleared it with a little help from the dentist, but I think the tooth may not be in for the long haul.
To add insult to my tooth injury, the broadband connection has gone down. Unless there is a miracle, I mean weekend working by the engineers, it looks like there will be little in the way of digital work this weekend. Using the cloud is great… until it isn’t there. Therefore this post comes to you by the power of 4G, hotspots and data allowance.
I’m still touch typing and have moved on to numbers. I’ll soon be able to type my name and my date of birth. In addition, the fiction is rolling on with a few paragraphs being added. My biggest success has been this blog, so, as I said it hasn’t been a bad week.
I have been playing bits and pieces, but haven’t managed to move any projects forward. The website is nearly live but then it has been nearly live for a while. I will see how much of my music set-up I can use without Wi-fi. It should be most of it, but I just have to remember to sync everything if I try to move to a different platform – yes, I know, first world problems of the privileged. What it is doing is making me appreciate all that I have.
pLAnarchy has been most hit by this week’s miasma. I had intended to get a few things sorted and added to the shop, but no such luck. And now the broadband is down I can do even less.
What my tooth and now connection issues does mean is that I can catch-up with the paperwork and do some creative thinking and planning around my goals. That is never a bad thing. Likewise not sitting in front of a screen over the weekend may enable me to have a little me time, which is something that I am looking at through my New Moon Intentions’ Ritual.
So, best find that pencil and paper. I hope your week has lacked tooth pain and tech woes… If not, I can empathise.
